When we look at the history of Gelato, we go back to the Renaissance period but no one actually knows the one who invented it. The Italians did not invent the ice cream but they have mastered the art of manufacturing this. Some people say that it was invented in the court of the Medici, in Florence. Maybe by the Florentine architect or by the designer Bernardo Buontalenti or by the alchemist Cosimo Reggieri. Around 3700 gelato making companies are formed in Italy but the ones who are best in their work are found in Florence, Rome, and Bologna. The original gelato is made by the artisans on daily basis and unlike ice-cream; it does not have air and fat which gives a real boost to the flavors inside it.
5.Panzanella (Tuscany)
This is a healthy and delicious bread dish that is served with tomatoes and salad. It is usually served in the hot summer time. It was originated in the 14th century and even now it is the most-liked dish in Europe. It is a classical dish and was originated from Tuscany. The basis of the original recipe is only on stale bread and onion. But today, it is made with a little modern touch with the addition of the juicy and ripped tomatoes with basil, olive oil, and vinegar.
